Hello all and welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Maria Fabiola (fah-bee-oh-lah) and ever since I was very young, pictures have held a special place in my heart. I have moved across country and overseas and to this day, my childhood pictures are in a box kept with me at all times during our moves. You see, I feel very strongly at the fact that we can replace almost anything we owe in our homes. But to me, our pictures are pretty much irreplaceable. They are more than just an image, they are mementos of different times in our lives. This passion only grew stronger after I had my son. I began looking into capturing him in a way that made the fleeting moments of his childhood last. I found my self really slowing down to appreciate the really small milestones. To this day those images are my most treasured. This is what brought me to pursuit photography as more than just a personal hobby. I feel so passionate about capturing special moments, that I want to do that for everyone that feels the same way. These are a glimpses of some of the most important times we may ever experience. Whether that’d be falling in love and becoming engaged, even expecting your first, welcoming your third, or just celebrating life with your loved ones. These are all cherish-able moments worth capturing in an authentic way. I aim for those raw moments full of beautiful flaws.
